I am Ansar Ahmad, a Pharmacist by profession and a CSS, PMS aspirant. After graduation, I decided to appear in the most prestigious examinations in the country, CSS and PMS. At that moment, we were able to write our ideas in a specific way, giving us enough confidence and opportunity to build our understanding of English writing. Afterwards, we started the most daunting task of the competitive examinations, English Essay and Précis. Sir Kazim Ali spent most of his energies and time on developing a thorough understanding of Essay writing in his students. He started by teaching us how to write outlines, thesis statements, introduction and body paragraphs, and the conclusion, and he evaluated us on each step.

Similarly, he worked on our précis writing and told us the techniques to overcome the fear attached to the composition part of the paper. The methods he taught us for learning vocabulary, attempting comprehension and translation, and understanding pairs of words and punctuation have enabled us to score high on this paper. As both these papers require error-free English writing, it can be said that with the help of Sir Kazim’s lectures, we were able to achieve the milestone.

Besides teaching English writing, Sir Syed Kazim Ali gave lectures on moral and ethical development, which brought positive changes in his students’ personalities.
