Sulaiman Khan, Assistant Director, ASF, explains how Sir Syed Kazim Ali’s English sessions lifted his One Paper English scores to 18 out of 20.
I am Sulaiman Khan, from Bannu, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. I graduated in Political Science from the University of Peshawar. Although I was determined to build a successful academic and professional future, English was a major obstacle in my journey. Growing up with limited educational resources, I struggled with even basic sentence construction, and expressing my thoughts clearly in English often felt difficult.

When I began preparing for the CSS 2025 examination, I invested time and effort in well-known academies. However, my performance, particularly in Precis and Composition, did not reflect that effort. Conflicting methods and superficial guidance left me confused rather than confident. I began to realize that collecting notes and attending lectures were not enough; I needed to build my English foundation properly.
The Session That Gave Me Direction
At this critical stage, I came across Sir Syed Kazim Ali‘s English session. His three-day introductory session on essay writing was an eye-opening experience. For the first time, I encountered a clear, structured, and practical approach that helped me understand how to prepare for the subject. I found the direction I had been searching for.
Enrolling in his July 2025 session became one of the most important decisions of my life. Sir Kazim did not simply teach us writing techniques; he rebuilt our foundations from the basics of sentence construction and gradually guided us towards more advanced writing. His explanations were precise; his approach was practical; and he addressed weaknesses with patience and clarity.
How Detailed Evaluation Improved My One Paper English
What distinguished Sir Kazim’s teaching was his commitment to practice, detailed evaluation, and feedback. His live evaluations helped me recognize mistakes that I had previously overlooked. Instead of leaving students to guess what had gone wrong, he explained weaknesses and showed us how to improve them.
Through this process, I began to approach essays, articles, and analytical compositions with greater clarity and purpose. Within five months, I noticed a meaningful improvement in my writing, confidence, and overall expression. What had once seemed beyond my ability gradually became achievable through consistent effort and the right guidance.
Support Beyond the Classroom
One of the qualities I value most about Sir Kazim is that his support does not end when a class or session is over. His principle of ‘once a student, always a student’ is reflected in the way he continues to guide and encourage his students. His mentorship has extended beyond English learning and helped me approach competitive examinations with a more disciplined and confident mindset.
His guidance also supported me in preparing for One Paper examinations. I am grateful for the time and attention he gave me and for helping me understand how to approach the examination more effectively. That support has been especially meaningful in my professional journey.

From Weak English to Assistant Director in ASF
One of the important milestones in my journey has been my appointment as Assistant Director in the Airports Security Force (ASF). I regard this achievement as the result of sustained effort, learning, and the guidance I received along the way. Sir Kazim’s contribution was not limited to improving my English; his mentorship also strengthened my confidence, discipline, and approach to competitive examinations.
I appeared in more than ten One Paper exams but consistently struggled to score well in the English portion. Despite my efforts, English remained my weakest area. However, after attending Sir Kazim’s session, there has been a remarkable improvement. Since then, I have never scored less than 18 out of 20 in the English portion of any One Paper exam. In One Paper exams where merit is decided by a single mark, this improvement is a great achievement. By strengthening my foundational concepts of English, Sir Kazim has helped me secure a place among the top merit positions. I am truly grateful for his guidance.
I do not claim that any achievement comes from one person alone. However, having a mentor who provides sincere guidance at the right time can make a real difference. I remain thankful to Sir Kazim for the role he played in my journey and for the support he offered when I needed direction.
More Than an English Teacher
Sir Kazim has been more than an English teacher to me. He has been a mentor who helped me recognize my weaknesses, work on them systematically, and believe that improvement is possible with consistency. His teaching has changed not only how I write, but also how I prepare, think, and face challenges.
I wholeheartedly recommend Sir Syed Kazim Ali’s English course to aspirants who struggle with English, feel confused by contradictory preparation strategies, or want to develop genuine writing skills for competitive examinations. His approach demands effort and consistency, but it gives students a clear path towards improvement.
No words can fully express my gratitude. I will always remain thankful for Sir Kazim’s guidance, generosity, and continued support.
